Leo and I had a routine.
I would work from 3:00PM to 11:00PM. He would nap while I got ready for work, then he would trot along the porch and watch me leave. When I got home at night, he would meet me at the door, walk me down the hall, meow at my Mom, go in our room, follow me to shower/change, walk me to the kitchen for water, run down the hall to our room, jump on the bed, meow while I took my medicine, then he would lightly doze while I watched the Tivo.
We're creatures of habit. Leo and I like schedules and structure. However, I started new hours this week. Leo is not pleased.
I now work from 8:00AM until 4:30PM - then, I usually pop over to the boyfriend's apartment for a bit. Leo protested. He's a large cat - 43 inches (nose to tail), 23.2 pounds - and he somehow managed to fit his entire body into my mostly-full purse. He held my badge in his mouth and had no intentions of letting go. After awhile of pushing and pulling, I managed to free my necessary belongings from the cat. He apparently cried and paced all day. Last night, he opted to give me the silent treatment - he did not sleep in our room, to my knowledge. When I got up this morning, he was curled up in his kitty bed at the foot of my bed - he was snoring, so I decided it would be best not to wake him.
While surfing the interwebs this morning, I stumbled across a nifty website. Petsmopolitan. It's like a MySpace or Facebook for you and your pets. You can visit Leo at: LEO.

Aww poor L! There's been a lot of change in the house over the past few weeks. :( I'm sure he'll work out it soon.
